Research Workshop on

"NONPERTURBATIVE QCD"

Tashkent, September 22 - 28, 2003

Dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the birth of National University of Uzbekistan (NUUZ).

Co-sponsored by DFG, NUUZ, Institute of Nuclear Physics of AS Uz and Institute of Applied Physics of NUUZ.

The program of this Research Workshop focuses on open problems in nonperturbative QCD.

The research workshop is expected to attract the participation by experts from different fields of NPQCD, such as, for example, effective field theory, lattice approach and model investigations of the QCD vacuum. This will facilitate an exchange of ideas and a cross-fertilization.

This research workshop will provide an important forum for the rapid exchange of expertise, and the communication of ideas, between scientists from the ``Eastern'' and ``Western'' hemispheres.
